Guidance

To be it you must seek it!

Who needs guidance;  infants, children, teenagers and some parents and for the most part this guidance comes from other generations grandparents.

Through prayer I will ask God to direct me on how to orchestrate and guide you. I want all of us to be there for Gods precious and vulnerable children in a positive and an encouraging way.

As we guide them we also allow them to be what God wants them to be.  There have been many times that I have been used and abused and yet I look back and think that had to take place in order  for me to be where I am now.

At my business I never had any age restrictions because after all why restrict them from expressing themselves?  We are in their lives to provide them with consistent support system and to encourage them.  The educational life skills they will be learning are designed to help these children strengthen their chances of a bright future.

Mentoring children will give each of them the confidence and self-sufficiency for an independent life.

I want these children to see what God can do for them through me and others.

God has provided me the key ingredient to teach the children with.

What Does Safe or Never Giving Up Look Like?

Today, I come to you to share a resent experience that no parent wants to experience.

A couple of years ago, my son decided to move out with some ‘friends’.  I continued my mission of being a concerned parent.  I reached out to him by calling him and texting him. Eventually, those messages became void.  He didn’t respond that often if at all.  So, I would resend those same messages again.  Those messages were messages of love, concern and not condemnation.  Being human we want to judge, accuse and vent but, I choose to show unconditional love.  During this time I was in a relationship with a man that I planned to marry.  I honestly feel that my son thought he was being abandoned because, of all more poor choices that I had made in men. Eventually, I got married, we then combined households to where I was residing to complete the lease I was in.  So, the pressure on my son was on him and his belongings. Even, though I said you can live here with us, but, I have not seen you for months. Eventually, my son and his friends came to pickup his stuff. As time went on I reached out to my son, trying to make time for him each and every week.  Telling him let’s go out to eat, or do something you enjoy doing.  I wanted my son to know he is loved and he can come to me anytime and I will be there for him. I mentored my son weekly if not daily.

Eventually, the poor choices caught up with him.  He had tickets that he received when he was riding on his motorcycle, these tickets turned to unpaid tickets, court and work project that didn’t happened so it landed him in jail for a couple of days. During, his jail time, I asked God to grab a hold of my son and show him he is meant for more in life then the motorcycle club he was caught up in.  My son was released from jail and his father picked him up.  His father and step-mother went and saw him.

I never went to see him.  Why?  Because, I didn’t want to see him in jail.  I wanted him to feel the pain of someone not being present in their life.

We had lunch together a day or two later, where my son said to me, you don’t love me, if you did you would have come to see me in jail.  I said, I love you but, I don’t want to see you there in that predicament.  I felt I would be condoning his behavior, poor choices, by being there for him when it was too late.  Or was it too late?  I planned to go, then, I thought should I go see him?  I wanted him to have this time to repent, and think about things the direction he was headed.  I knew the time was not long lived (a couple of days). He shared with me that this was something he never wanted to experience again.  He shared many more things with me.

I continued my mission of being a parent that loved, cared for and I still was concerned for my son.  I continued to text and call him.  One week when I had to travel out of town for work.  I couldn’t sleep for two days.  I kept having bad dreams about my son.  Then, off topic my sister called me about health concerns for our mom.  So, I texted my son about this…didn’t hear from him for a few days.  Then, a phone call came in, where my son was on the other end asking for help.  He was trying to self medicate due to a tragedy that took place at the age of 13 years old.  My son was having withdrawals and having suicidal thoughts.  I prayed for him and asked where he was at the time, he said I am on my way to you.  I said, I can come get you.  He said he was okay to drive, so we talked for a while on the phone.  I continued praying that he would arrive safely to my doorstep and I prayed that he would follow through with getting help by heading to emergency when he arrived.  I met him in the front of the house.  He got out of the car and came and hugged me, cried, sobbed, shared his thoughts and his feelings.

Impress Them On Your Children

And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.

Baking Ingredients With A Purpose

Cramer's Bakers

My mission is to give you the confidence and self-sufficiency for an independent life by using baking ingredients.  I am here to give you consistent support, guidance and encouragement. I want to show you how to think out of the box when it comes to baking at home.

 Understanding What My Purpose Is

I believe my purpose is to be an inspiration to others.  The reason I feel this way is I have gone through some pretty bad things during my lifetime.  I know what it is like to go through difficulties from an early age.  I had to grow up fast at an early age of 10.  During and after all the hard times I had experienced, I never turned to drugs, alcoholism, depression or suicide.  I want you to strive and move forward and never allow the situations to hinder your future.

I want to tell everyone my story to give them courage that they are able to overcome everything that comes at them.  I have asked GOD over and over WHY me and I seem to hear well my daughter I made you STRONG you can handle it, are you ready for the next situation because, it’s going to get a lot worse!

There have been many times that I have been used and abused and yet I look back and think that had to take place in order for me to be where I am now and where I am headed.

Seeking an Abundant Life in Baking by using Gods Ingredients

Why I choose the name “Seeking an Abundant Life in Baking by using Gods Ingredients” as my area of focus, is rather simple!  God provides all the ingredients we just need to better understand the ingredients purpose.  I want children to see what God can do for them through Him,

God has provided me the key ingredient to teach the children with.

Question: What is your purpose in this God-given life of yours?

Guidance

Who needs good guidance?  We all do! We may need to be re-guided from time to time.  The right guidance should start when we are infants.  But, when the parents are not able to do the right kind of guiding, other generations are taking hold of the opportunity.  As we guide these children we must allow them to be what God wants them to be.

There have been many times that I have been used and abused and yet I look back and think that had to take place in order  for me to be where I am now, which is to help others from being in those type of relationships.

My Prior Business

At my business I never had any age restrictions because after all why restrict them from expressing themselves.  We are in their lives to give them an opportunity and to encourage them.

Educational Life Skills

The educational life skills are designed to help children strengthen their chances of a bright future.  Mentoring children will give them the confidence and self-sufficiency for an independent life.  I want to see these children to understand what God can do for them through us.

Through prayer I will ask God to direct me on how to orchestrate and guide you or them the right direction.  I hope you will be there for Gods precious and vulnerable children in a positive and an encouraging way.

God has provided me the key ingredient to teach the children with.

To be it, you must seek it!

Last Night Was Exhilarating

There were so many new faces, even adults from the
community are coming out.  The light is getting brighter and brighter each week.  So many new volunteers are taking a hold with assisting, taking ownership and leadership.Placeholder Image

Where did the time go?

From introductions, to coloring, to playing games, to talking, to singing to feeding to encouraging and it’s over already.  Well it’s only over for this particular night of the particular week but, with much anticipation for another night with these at-risk children.

Life skills

A local teenager from the community, is giving back already.  He has taken the lead with BBQing the meal among-st all the other things he is doing.  He comes ready to serve and is trying to keep his smiles at bay,  but, these smiles sneak in when you compliment him.  He enjoys listening to our conversations, to see what excites us, you know; things like how fun it used to be when we ride in the back of a truck.

I can honestly say, it is impossible to sleep after a night full of joy.  Lord, help us get rest in between these nights and our work schedules.  Thank you Jesus for all that you do in all of our lives!

Departure

Upon departure a new girl and her sister asked if we were going to be back again.  I said, every Wednesday, she said, okay, but, are you going to be back?  I said YES of course!  Why would she ask a question like that?  If you don’t know it is because they want ‘hope’ in their lives and maybe people have promised things yet never followed through or maybe because, people have not taken a genuine interest in their lives.  After all, we are to build others up not tear them down. At the beginning she spoke about her interest in singing and how she struggled with it because of her shyness, because, I spoke to her with words of encouragement and for her to start where she felt comfortable (at the table) and guess what by the end of the night she stood and sang.

Redemption

Ephesians 1:7-8
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.

What Does Praying For You Look Like?

PrayerSince the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you!

We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Amen!
