As I was on the road, approaching Damascus about noon, a very bright light from heaven suddenly shone down around me.  I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?  Who are you, Lord? I asked.  And the voice replied, I am Jesus the Nazareth, the one you are persecuting. The people with me saw the light but didn’t understand the voice speaking to me.  I asked, What should I do, Lord?  And the Lord told me, Get up and go into Damascus, and there you will be told everything you are to do.  I was blinded by the intense light and had to be led by the hand to Damascus by my companions.  A man named Ananias lived there.  He was a godly man, deeply devoted to the law, and well regarded by all the Jews of Damascus. He came and stood beside me and said, Brother Saul, regain your sight. And that very moment I could see him. Acts 22:6-13

Do you want to accept Christ into your life?  If so, please repeat the following and please follow up with baptism as soon as possible.

Meeting Jesus

  1. Where were you when you accepted Christ into your life?

I was in my friend’s car.

Why were you in the particular location?

A friend and I were returning from church, as she was driving we were conversing back and forth about my spouse and what my life is like being married to him and my life before marrying him.  I eventually broke down in tears, which at this time in my life was very hard to show my emotions to others.

Accepting Christ In My Life:

  1. What did you see, hear or experience during this event? I was weeping and felt like I had chills running through my body.
  2. What did you do or say as a response? Yes, I accept him into my life.

Have you ever had something like this happen to you? If not here is your opportunity.

PRAYER OF SALVATION

I acknowledge that Jesus Christ is God that he came to earth as a man in order to live the sinless life that we cannot live; that He died in our place, so that we would not have to pay the penalty we deserve.  We confess our past life of sin living for ourselves and not obeying God.  We admit we are ready to trust Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord.  We ask Jesus to come into our heard, take up residence there and begin living through us.  And without faith it is impossible to please god, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:6, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God Romans 3:23, for God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness, made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ 2 Corinthians 4:6, god made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with god and the Word was God.  He was with god in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. John 1:1-3, For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  John 3:16, If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that god raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  Romans 10:9  Father I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you.  I am truly sorry and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again.  I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead is alive and heard my prayer.  I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward.  Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey you and to do your will for the rest of my life.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

I accepted Christ into my life on
